Same happened with Chinese Language Exams HSK which were otherwise were conducted in 30 centres across India , But from last 6-8 months there are no exams in India as all these centres are not conducting exams and if we called them they said only one centre in operational in Kolkata and all others have been closed
I should check in Australia as I worked patiently through books 6 last year, but if they are going to change it, I'm in no hurry so I'd do the new text and exam. Also hard to buy the old books, and the new ones aren't around. so don't know if it means anything political, or if it is some Hanban related problem.

Weren't they rolling out a new HSK which seems to be stalled ?
Yes the new Hsk was stalled ... But old version of HSK exams are still being conducted across globe but not in India anymore
